About the Artwork
 
The Walking Man ZZZ's is part of the Nocturnal Collection, a body of work exploring the space between wakefulness and sleep, awareness and the subconscious. Using simplified geometric forms and handwritten typography, this piece reflects the surreal experience of sleepwalking—a state in which the body continues moving while the mind drifts elsewhere.
The repeated letter "Z" becomes both a graphic pattern and a symbol of sleep, creating rhythm, movement, and a dreamlike landscape that invites viewers to reflect on the fragile boundary between consciousness and rest.
 
Symbolism
 
The raised arm suggests movement without intention, capturing the paradox of being physically present while mentally elsewhere. The repeated "Z" pattern reinforces the cyclical nature of sleep and the subconscious, while the restrained color palette evokes calm, stillness, and quiet reflection.
